Afador is a mix between an Afghan Hound and a Labrador Retriever. He is a loyal and friendly dog. Adopt from rescues or shelters.
Afadors are not purebred dogs like their Afghan Hound or Labrador Retriever parents. Instead, they are a mix of two breeds.
Black, brown, grey, red, and fawn are some of the most common colours for Afador.
There will definitely be shedding! To keep the breed's coat in good shape, it needs a lot of grooming. Twice a week brushing is the bare minimum.
The Afador does better in cold weather than in warm weather. Still, if it gets really cold, you should get your Afador a good winter coat.
As a mixed-breed dog that is very active, the Afador will love to play fetch and folic in a safe off-leash area. Be aware that this dog can easily jump over a six-foot fence
Because the breed is smart and can be stubborn, you'll want to make sure that both the dog and your kids are trained to be around each other from the start.
